What is retargeting and how it works?
Retargeting allows you to re-engage users who have previously interacted with your website, app, or ads. By targeting audiences based on past behavior, you can deliver more relevant messages, increase conversion rates, and improve overall campaign performance.

Our platform allows you to create Retargeting Lists based on collected user data, helping you reach audiences who have already interacted with your ads or website.


How to create Retargeting List?

A Retargeting List is generated based on Tracker Report data (to learn more go to Tracker and Tracker Report Help Page). To create a Retargeting list, you first need to create a tracker report, which collects the user data required for retargeting. The tracker report can be created in a separate tab called Tracker Report Builder.

  1. Open the Tracker Report page.
  2. Select the period for which you want to view the data.
  3. Choose the required columns (for example: Tracker, Campaign, Ad Group, Creative, Event, User IP, Country, etc.).
  4. If needed, add filters by selecting a dimension and a value.
  5. Click Generate to create the report
  6. Select option Create Retargeting List. Even if a specific date range was selected when creating the report, new data that matches the selected filters will continue to be added to the retargeting list automatically. You can disable automatic updates by unchecking the checkbox Automatic list updates based on selected filters
  7. After saving, the list will be available in a separate Retargeting Lists Page.
How to use Retargeting List for Ad Group
Within an Ad Group, retargeting helps refine your audience and focus your budget on users who are more likely to take action. To use retargeting in an Ad Group, scroll to the Retargeting section and select the appropriate list from the previously created Retargeting Lists.
